There are only a few second chances in life. S.K hospital has been instrumental in giving me one. I have been admitted at the CCU of SK hospital battling for my life. It was a bleak time for me and my family and the CCU and hospital became my home for the next 60 days. However a dedicated, diligent and professional service by a team of doctors, well supported by highly trained and qualified nurses helped me to slowly but steadily recover. What is most important and what is rarely seen in other hospitals is the humane approach by SK hospitals doctors, nurses and other supporting staff. They were always there extending a helping hand with a smiling face and a sympathetic ear and this made me very comfortable and lead to my speedy recovery.
My special thanks to Dr Ravi and his full CCU team, Dr. Shameem (Pulmonogy),Dr Arshad (Cardiology), Dr. Navas (Neurosurgeon) and Mr Madhu (Physiotherapist).
My gratitude to all those nurses who have lived upto their responsibilities and shown great patience ,inspite of me being a difficult patient.
From the bottom of my heart I sincerely thank the management, staff and all those who have happily helped me and my family during our long stay at the hospital.
Keep up the good work.
Let me remind the general public that S.K hospital may not be the best but it definitely will stand among the top most hospitals in Kerala.
One last word wherever we go, whatever we do, be reminded that we all are governed by our destiny and everything revolves around it......a power beyond reasoning.
I'm home and chilling. No pain, just lil discomfort.
You've a great team here, in SK. I was so loved and wanted and cared for ... i cant begin to even recount it all. Excellent team. If you get a chance, please thank them for me. Dr. Beena ... wow, such a smart efficient doctor. I truly admired her.
Well they say "Miracles do happen", however what I experienced in SK Hospital clearly depicts that Miracles do not happen on its own, someone should have the intent to make it happen. I admitted my mother to SK hospital (Trivandrum) in a very critical condition as she had a total renal failure and multiple chest infection which was affecting her rest of the vital organs.
She was admitted in CCU and immediately slipped into Life support (Ventilator), she was unconscious in Life support for 5 days. Each day passing by was making us feel that we might not get her back. Our relatives were asking us to prepare for the worst, everyone was losing hope as time passed by, but there were 2 gentlemen who did not lost hope, to whom I owe my mother's life 1. Dr Ravi 2. Dr Midhun. They were the doctors treating my mother. I still remember them telling me that in medical term, there is some numbers given to the critical patient post diagnosis and these numbers then add up to the chances of survival, in my mothers case the chances of survival came up to only 5%. These doctors didn't give up and brought her back to life on the 7th day. Yes, for me they made the this miracle happen . I still remember on the day of discharge the entire CCU team came down to see my mother off. Would like to thank each and every staff of SK Hospital for their kind help during these worried times for our family. A big thank you to our two Gods Dr Ravi S and Dr Midhun for saving my mom from her death bed, may God bless you and help you to keep adding such huge value in other people life:) . Adding couple of pictures for old remembrance.
